Aircraft Maintenance Technician

The Fountain Group is currently seeking Aircraft Technicians for a prominent client of ours. There are multiple positions open in the following locations:

California $35 - $45/hr
Maxwell AFB, AL - $40 - $45/hr
San Antonio, TX - $35 - $43/hr
Various locations expected to become available

Job Description:

$25-$42/HR (depending on location/years of experience).
12-month assignments (with possibility to extend based on performance and budget).
Various skillsets needed (electrical, structural, fuel tank sealer, interior specialists, systems assembly and testing)
General responsibilities include:
Assemble, disassemble, and/or modify systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes
Oversees assembly, disassembly, or overhaul
Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment
Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components
Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components
Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications, and inspection results)
Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.

Qualifications:

HS Diploma or GED is required.
aircraft repair/maintenance/assembly experience is required (depending on location they may require more) Open to aerospace academic program graduates.
Some positions are open to automotive/structural/electrical background with no aerospace experience.
Positions require a US Person due to export compliance regulations.
Some positions require an active secret clearance.
Some positions require an A&P license
