About the Position

• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Prepare patients for procedures and explain the examination process.
• Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate and maintain X-ray equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and applicable regulations.
• Review images for quality and ensure required views are obtained.
• Maintain accurate patient and imaging documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging environment.
• Provide professional and compassionate patient care throughout examinations.

Requirements

• Current X-Ray Tech certification/credential as required by the facility and state.
• Previous experience as an X-Ray Technologist preferred.
• Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures and radiation safety.
• Excellent patientcare and communication skills.
• Ability to work 36 hours per week on varied shifts.
