AMC | Certified Medical Assistant

Overview: Join a dedicated healthcare team supporting both administrative and clinical needs of physicians and licensed medical staff. This role involves assisting with patient vital signs, updating charts, compiling statistical data, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. You will provide care to a diverse patient population, including adults, older adults, and pediatric patients, under the supervision of medical professionals.

Education, Training, and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program and successful passing of a nationally recognized certification exam from organizations such as CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Completion of medication administration, waived testing competencies, AED certification, and phlebotomy training within the first month of employment.
• Ability to see, hear, read, and operate clinical and office equipment effectively.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Willingness to work in an environment with potential exposure to blood or infectious materials.
