We are seeking a Senior Accountant in our Audit & Assurance practice who is ready to take ownership of engagements, work directly with clients, mentor developing staff, and continue growing toward manager-level responsibilities. The Senior Accountant will support high-quality financial reporting, audit execution, client communication, and team development while managing multiple engagements and deadlines. As a Senior Accountant, You Can Expect To: Lead and perform audit, review, and other assurance engagements for privately held businesses and organizations. Serve as a key point of contact for client personnel, proactively gathering information and communicating engagement status. Plan and execute audit procedures, including risk assessment, testing, documentation, and evaluation of audit results. Prepare and review workpapers, financial statements, footnotes, management letters, and client correspondence. Apply professional standards and firm methodologies to support high-quality engagement execution and documentation. Identify accounting, auditing, internal control, and financial reporting matters and communicate them to managers and partners. Supervise, train, and mentor staff, including reviewing work and providing constructive feedback. Manage multiple engagements, deadlines, and priorities while maintaining strong ownership and accountability. You Will Be Successful Here If You: Take pride in producing accurate, client-ready work. Analytical, critical-thinking, and financial analysis skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Experience with public accounting workflow and research tools is helpful, including CCH Engagement, Axcess Practice, WorkStream, Knowledge Coach, and Fixed Assets CS. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required. CPA license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam required. Two or more years of public accounting experience, including audit and attestation services, preferred.
