Department: Procurement What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop effective supplier and inventory management performance metrics to accurately gauge supplier and improvement opportunities
- Participates in developing budgets for capital projects
- Source and manage capital equipment vendors
- Pricing, trend, and market analysis
- Be the process owner of all RFQ tracking
- Manage the purchase order process
- Guarantees policy and procedure compliance
- Evaluates bids and selects suppliers based on price, delivery, quality, and service to obtain best overall value
- Negotiate contracts for equipment and services
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related major, preferred
- Minimum 5 years of procurement experience specifically in capital projects/MRO
- ERP experience including SAP, JD Edwards, etc
- Excellent negotiation, analytical and organization & presentation skills
- Ability to plan and prioritize a wide variety of activities
