Our client, A 25B+ Alternative Credit platform that is positioned for accelerated growth over the next few years is seeking a Head of Investor Relations (IR) that will act as a crucial liaison between the fund's management (or C-suite) and its limited partners (LPs). Job Function:

• Oversee the development and delivery of all investor communications, including quarterly reports, capital account statements, performance updates, and market commentary
• Partner with investment teams to translate portfolio performance and strategy into clear, compelling investor messaging
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness across all investor-facing materials
• Lead preparation for annual meetings, investor calls, and ad hoc updates
• Own the capital call and distribution process across all funds, ensuring precision, timeliness, and compliance with fund documentation
• Coordinate closely with finance, fund operations, and external service providers (administrators, custodians)
• Oversee investor allocations, notices, and cash flow tracking
• Continuously enhance processes, controls, and investor experience around capital activity
• Serve as a senior point of contact for existing investors, addressing inquiries and providing ongoing support
• Develop a proactive communication cadence to strengthen investor engagement and transparency
• Partner with the fundraising team on investor onboarding and due diligence processes
• Build and manage a high-performing investor relations team
• Establish best-in-class infrastructure, systems, and workflows to support scalability
• Drive continuous improvement across IR processes, reporting tools, and data management
• Work closely with Portfolio Management, Finance, Legal/Compliance, and Operations to ensure alignment across the firm
• Support fundraising efforts with materials, investor insights, and data coordination as needed

Job Requirements:

Job Requirements:

• 12-18+ years of experience in Investor Relations, Product Specialist, or Client Service roles within alternative asset management, with a strong preference for private credit or structured credit exposure
• Deep familiarity with capital call mechanics, fund structures, and investor reporting requirements
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex investment strategies to sophisticated institutional investors
• Strong operational mindset with experience improving processes and scaling infrastructure
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional initiatives
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
