Dentist Job in Portland, ME
Blue Jay Dental is seeking a general dentist to join a state-of-the-art facility in Portland, ME, immediately. The practice serves patients of all ages and backgrounds in a great location with a modern office equipped with computers in each operatory.
This full-time position offers busy hours and a competitive starting salary to help establish a new dentist. The role includes diagnosing patients' dental conditions using clinical and radiological techniques, assessing needs, and arranging consultations for further treatment. The dentist will provide comprehensive care including routine exams, extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, and fluoride treatments. Referrals to specialists will be made as needed, and the dentist will oversee the administrative functions of the office and supervise dental hygienists and assistants.
The ideal candidate should have a DMD or DDS from an accredited dental school, a valid ME license, DEA certification, and be willing to live and integrate into the Portland community. Competence in all aspects of general dentistry and a strong commitment to clinical excellence are required.
