Job Description
Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Schedule

Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15)

Assignment Details

Contract length: 12 hours per shift for 3 weeks; guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week.

Requirements

• Valid nursing license
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• 2 years of telemetry experience required
• High-risk telemetry experience required
• Experience with cardiac drips, sheath pulls, and central line management required
• Charting experience with EPIC
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend (6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule)
• Local candidates not accepted (75-mile radius)
• No floating outside of patient units

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry setting
• Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry data
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient progress and care provided
• Educate patients and families on health management
