Role Description The Seasonal Sales Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Wichita, KS. This role is responsible for providing attentive customer service, assisting shoppers in finding outdoor and active-lifestyle products, and answering questions about features, fit, and value. Daily tasks include maintaining clean and organized sales floors, replenishing merchandise, setting up displays, and handling transactions at the register accurately and efficiently. The associate supports backroom operations such as processing incoming product, ticketing items, and preparing stock for the sales floor. This position also involves working collaboratively with team members to meet store goals, following safety and loss prevention guidelines, and contributing to a positive, inclusive shopping experience for all customers. Qualifications Customer service and communication skills to engage shoppers, listen to needs, and provide helpful product guidance. Sales and retail skills, including basic merchandising, cash handling, and point-of-sale system experience. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail throughout shifts. Teamwork and collaboration skills, with a willingness to support colleagues and adapt to changing store needs. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and perform light lifting and stocking duties. Interest in outdoor activities or active lifestyles, with enthusiasm for learning about Sierra's products and brand. Reliable attendance, flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays during the seasonal period.
