Pay Rate: $55.00/hr - $58.00/hr

Contract: 12 Weeks

Schedule: Day Shift, 8-hour shifts

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Experience: Minimum 1 year required; 2 years acute care preferred

EMR: Cerner

About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist for a contract opportunity in Grants, NM. This role includes both inpatient and outpatient care, supporting patients in improving daily living skills, mobility, independence, and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Support ADL, mobility, and functional skills training
Recommend and train patients on adaptive equipment
Educate patients, families, and caregivers
Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapy teams

Requirements

Active New Mexico Occupational Therapy License required
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program
NBCOT/OTR certification required
BLS/CPR certification required
Completion of Level I and Level II supervised fieldwork
Experience with ADLs, mobility training, lifts, splints, and adaptive devices preferred
Strong communication, documentation, and patient care skills
