Shipping Associate

Job Description As a leading designer and fabricator of commercial grade retail display cases as well as millwork/décor. Associates work directly with leading retailers like Sam's Club, Academy, Kohl's, and Wal-Mart to create shopping experiences seen every day. The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for several duties at Jahabow, including supporting the logistics and transportation department with administrative duties in addition to data entry. Loads and unloads material within a warehouse or storage facility. Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks within the storage facility. Responsible for receiving incoming shipments. RESPONSIBILITIES Timely receipt of inbound shipments Delivery of received items to specified locations System receipt of inbound shipments from other buildings Load trucks for outside vendor POs as well as customer shipments Assist in filling out BOL's for outbound shipments Operate Forklift to stage orders for shipment Assist with Scheduling carriers Working with Third Party Logistics Companies for customer routed freight as needed Providing domestic and international freight quotes as needed Supplying Third Party Logistics with accurate Bill of Ladings that need to be routed Ensuring the integrity of import/export documentation such as Bill of Ladings, Commercial Invoices, and NAFTA forms. Organizing all shipments in line with company requirements Run reports as needed. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High School Education or equivalent. 1-2 years in Logistics On The Job Training or experience in similar job. REQUIRED SKILLS Ability to Navigate within the MRP Software Proficient in MS Office Strong written and verbal communication skills Salary level will be based on experience.
