Survey Project Manager - PSM - Jacksonville, FLHalff has an immediate opening for a Survey Project Manager who is a Florida Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) for our Jacksonville, FL office. Learn about Halff and our 75th AnniversaryWhat you will do:Oversee project's financial health, report issues, and come up with solutions.Provide support to business development efforts to guide and lead each phase of the process in preparation of proposals, while emphasizing quality outcomes. Exceptional ability to lead by example in a professional, productive and established work environment. Assist with the operational flow for a survey team to collaboratively prioritize projects of all sizes and levels of complexities. What you will need:3+ years of demonstrated management experience.PSM in the state of Florida, preferred, or could become licensed in Florida within a year.Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale, land survey projects, including overseeing field crews and multiple registered surveyors. Excellent written and verbal communication with internal and external clients for the purpose of being concise, clear, and conveying details for project deliverables in an efficient and timely manner.Ability to work autonomously, mentor and professionally develop Survey Technicians and junior project managers.Exceptional ability and practical experience to successfully manage projects, including developing scope of work, schedule and fee while adhering to established guidelines.Technical understanding and proficiencies with Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D.Experience with Public Works, Energy, Water/Wastewater, and/or Land Development projects, is ideal. Hands-on experience with various municipalities in the Central Florida market.The Halff Surveying AdvantagePrequalified in 29 Florida Department of Transportation qualification work types.Provides a full array of surveying and mapping services using the most current national, state, local, ALTA/ACSM standards.Leading provider of high-quality, innovative and comprehensive land surveying to private and public clients.Learn more about Halff's Surveying services, check out some of our projects, and meet our team.
