Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Provide high-quality nursing care in Labor and Delivery with a 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-patient ratio
• Perform roles such as SVD, cerclages, C-Sections, and TOLAC efficiently
• Participate in C-Section circulation with a focus on patient safety
• Utilize equipment such as Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and US

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Active BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications
• Intermediate fetal monitoring skills
• Competency in EFM, SVE, and C-Section circulation
• A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery
