Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

• Current New Hampshire Teaching License (required)
• Experience in resource room, grade-level, or self-contained special education settings
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Passionate about supporting students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, adapt, and deliver tailored lessons to meet students’ IEP goals
• Support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth for students in resource or self-contained programs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families
• Track and report on progress, maintaining meticulous records
• Foster a classroom environment of safety, respect, and encouragement

As a valued member of the educational team, you’ll work 32.5-35 hours weekly with consistent school-day hours from 7:30 AM to 2:20 PM. The anticipated contract runs from September 1, 2026, to June 16, 2027.
