Job Title: Electrical Controls Engineer Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL Employment Type: Direct Hire Industry: Machinery Manufacturing Compensation: $90,000K - 150,000K/year. Schedule: 40 hours/week About the Opportunity:

• The Electrical Controls Engineer is responsible for designing the electrical systems that operate custom machines and programming the controls that make those machines function.
• Design electrical schematics and control panels using AutoCAD.
• Select electrical components (PLCs, sensors, motors, drives, relays, etc.) based on customer requirements and budget.

• Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) for each machine.
• Program PLCs to control machine operations.
• Create code from scratch.
• Knowledgeable with servos motors.
• Program HMIs so operators can run and monitor the equipment.
• Test and troubleshoot machines before shipment.
• Provide technical support to customers during installation or after startup.
• Work closely with mechanical engineers, assembly technicians, and customers throughout the project.
• Electrical Design with AutoCAD.
• Generate Bill of Materials.
• PLC Programming.
• HMI Programming.
• Customer Service.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• 10+ years of experience with AutoCAD or a similar application.
• 10+ years of experience with Servo motors, kinetics, servo drives, HMI's tags and PLC USING STUDIO 500- create code from scratch.
