Job Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour, Mid 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 3 years preferred License: Client License required Certifications: CST Must-Have: Epic experience is a requirement Description: Flexibility to work 11:00 AM or 1:00 PM each week is needed. CST certification is required unless previously worked as a tech in New York prior to 2015. Skills in various surgical procedures including gastric bypass, gastric sleeve, and laparoscopic assisted cases are essential. Experience in abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, carotid angioplasty, and endovascular aneurysm repairs is needed. Knowledge of decontamination and sterilization processes is required. Aseptic technique, sharps safety, and universal protocol adherence are critical. Experience with traumatic procedures and familiarity with the Da Vinci Xi surgical system is preferred. Ability to float within the unit may be necessary. Candidates must be willing to take on call duties and cover weekend shifts. This position involves working with a diverse patient population across different age groups. The daily census ranges from 40 to 60 cases. Teamwork and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
