Join our dynamic team as a General Production Worker, where you will play a vital role in our production line for the new ramp-up phase. You will be responsible for assembling materials, operating machines, and ensuring that parts are inspected before being boxed for shipment. Our team rotates positions to accommodate preferences, ensuring a varied and engaging work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble materials and operate machinery on the production line.
• Inspect parts for defects before packaging.
• Box inspected parts for shipment.
• Rotate through various positions on the production line as needed.

• A minimum of 6 months recent experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Experience with visual inspection for defects such as scratches, paint marks, and dents.
• Demonstrated longevity in previous jobs, with at least 8 months at each of the last three positions.

• Experience with mechanical and machine operation is a plus.

Work Environment

Join a dedicated team of six in a newly renovated facility that is steadily improving cleanliness standards. The role requires wearing work pants, shirts, closed-toed shoes, safety glasses, and face masks. Be prepared for occasional overtime, including weekends during launch periods. A drug test is required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of TROY, MI.

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
