Power & HVAC Road Technician 1

Job Description Summary Road Technician (Pump and Power Road) – performs basic diagnostics and repairs on pump and power equipment, focusing on minimizing downtime and maximizing equipment availability. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair pump and power equipment. Read electric schematics and hydraulic flow drawings. Maintain basic refrigeration (EPA certified) and electrical engines and controllers. Operate dehumidification equipment from CDI and Munters. Work with generators, power distribution, A/C, heater, shoring, diesel equipment, generators, and air compressors. Apply compressed air treatment (dryers, filters, aftercooler). Qualifications 3‑5 years of experience repairing and maintaining pump and power equipment. DOT physical examination (medical card). EPA Section 608 universal certification (required). Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Understanding of basic refrigeration (EPA certified), electrical engines and controllers. Familiarity with operation of dehumidification equipment from CDI and Munters. Knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, heater, shoring, diesel equipment, generators, and air compressors. Understanding of compressed air treatment (dryers, filters, aftercooler). Able to read electric schematics and hydraulic flow drawings. Physical Demands Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 25 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors are required.
