Field Installer / General Production WorkerThis role combines hands-on installation work with general production duties, focusing on assembling, installing, and servicing equipment at customer locations. You travel in a company vehicle, use company-provided tools, and work both indoors and outdoors to complete installations safely, accurately, and on schedule. The position is ideal for someone mechanically inclined who enjoys physical work, problem-solving in the field, and interacting professionally with customers and team members.ResponsibilitiesTravel to customer locations in a company vehicle to perform equipment installations and related production tasks.Assemble, install, and secure equipment according to company and customer specifications, ensuring quality and reliability.Use basic hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment safely and effectively during fabrication, cutting, and general labor activities.Read and follow installation instructions, drawings, and work orders to complete projects accurately and efficiently.Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues in the field, using strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Perform measuring, cutting, and fabrication work as required to support equipment installation and production needs.Conduct basic equipment testing and verification before leaving customer sites to confirm proper operation and installation quality.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at customer sites and within the production environment.Communicate professionally and clearly with customers and team members throughout the installation process.Follow all company safety procedures, including proper use of tools and adherence to vehicle operation guidelines.Complete work on schedule, meeting project deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship.Work overtime on Fridays as needed to support project timelines and customer requirements.Essential SkillsPrevious experience in installation, construction, mechanical assembly, maintenance, or field service preferred.Ability to use basic hand and power tools confidently and safely.Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve installation issues.Ability to perform accurate measuring, cutting, and fabrication tasks.Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work, including bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing for extended periods.Valid drivers license with a good driving record to operate company vehicles for field work.Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic, with willingness to work overtime on Fridays when required.Solid customer service orientation and clear communication skills when interacting with customers and team members.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with general labor tasks in installation, construction, or fabrication environments.Comfort working in both indoor and outdoor settings at customer sites.Ability to read and interpret installation instructions, drawings, and work orders.Attention to detail to ensure equipment is installed according to specifications and tested properly.Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively on-site and in the production environment.Why Work Here?You join a team that values hands-on craftsmanship, reliability, and professional customer service, and you benefit from company-provided tools, apparel, and vehicles that support your work in the field.
