We're seeking a skilled and ambitious Industrial Maintenance Technician. Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting, repairing, and performing scheduled maintenance on mechanical and electrical forklifts as well as other related material handling equipment
- Observe all safety procedures, use required PPE equipment
- Analyze and diagnose equipment problems and breakdowns, recommending the correct service and repairs needed to resolve issues
- Maintain and repair all industrial plant equipment and other equipment as required.
- Perform some of the installations and/or modifications to the plant's industrial equipment when required.
- Perform all welding and cutting work.
- Diagnose all types of mechanical problems.
- Effective communication with customers, co-workers, and management
- Ability to understand service and training manuals, including interpreting schematics and using electrical diagnostic instruments
- Keeps pace with industry innovations to make sound recommendations to customers
- Safely operates power tools, lifts, hoists, hydraulic jacks, and overhead cranes
- Experience working with 110-480 volt systems (higher voltage background is a plus).
- DEP in Industrial Mechanics or equivalent a plus
