They monitor system performance, identify, and resolve technical issues, and ensure efficient operation of all clinical systems. The analyst also provides technical support to end-users and collaborates with other IT teams to resolve complex technical problems related to clinical systems.IT Systems Analyst IEducation: Preferred: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, a related field, or equivalent experience. Experience: Required: 2 years of experience in healthcare clinical workflows and/or IT support, including experience with nursing, provider, or ancillary department technologies OR Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, a related field. Skills:Basic understanding of healthcare operations and clinical workflowsBasic knowledge of inter-related solutions and IT systems knowledge with the aligned application domain.Basic analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work as part of a team.Willingness to learn and adapt to the healthcare environment.IT Systems Analyst IIEducation: Preferred: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, a related field, or equivalent experience. Skills:Strong knowledge of inter-related solutions and IT systems knowledge with the aligned application domain.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with department resources.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong understanding of operational workflows.Strong documentation skills.Ability to lead small to medium size initiatives related to clinical systems improvementsHands on SkillsConfiguring Devices: Routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless controllers.Troubleshooting Tools: Ping, traceroute, Wireshark, NetFlow, SNMP monitoring.Cabling & Hardware: Fiber, copper, transceivers, patch panels, rack/stack.Must be able to carry 10-15 pounds of equipment and lift into a rack.Networking FundamentalsUnderstanding TCP/IP, OSI model, subnetting, VLANs, routing vs. switching, DNS, DHCP, NAT.Protocols & Services: FTP, SMTP, SNMP, VPNs, VoIP, multicast.LAN/WAN Technologies: Ethernet, wireless standards (802.11), MPLS, SD-WAN.Routing & Switching: Static and dynamic routing (OSPF, BGP), STP, port channels, trunking.Cisco, Aruba, VMWareCertifications strongly preferred: CCNP, CCIE, etc.
