Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position requiring an active Ohio RRT license and NBRC certification.

Details

• Respiratory therapy department position on a 12-week assignment
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00-7:30
• Weekend work as needed
• May float to other area facilities as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT
• Active Ohio RRT license required at time of submission (license required if applicable)
• Active NBRC certification required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) test required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required, from assignments worked in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Facility is smoke-free and nicotine-free with no exceptions
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical/religious exemptions only
• Travelers are expected to work every other holiday
• All RTO requests must be discussed during interview and included at time of submission
• Background check findings are reviewed by the facility, but any license hits or open cases are not accepted
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Candidates may extend assignments for up to 18 months, after which a 6-month break is required before returning
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
