Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

$2252.16/week –

Job Summary:
The Registered Staff Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room provides comprehensive, patient-centered care to diverse populations including neonates, children, adults, and seniors. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in a fast-paced, trauma-level facility.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver holistic nursing care by executing standards of nursing practice, including assessment and diagnosis.
• Develop, revise, and coordinate individualized care plans for patients across the lifecycle.
• Delegate suitable tasks to other healthcare team members while maintaining shared accountability.
• Participate actively in clinical decision-making, performance improvement, and environment of care initiatives.
• Document patient care accurately in the Epic electronic health record system.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure seamless patient care delivery.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Minnesota RN license with at least 2 years of ER experience, including trauma Level IV.
• Possess current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Demonstrate experience with Epic and caring for all patient populations.
• Show proven ability to work independently and within a collaborative healthcare team.
• Exhibit a strong understanding of emergency nursing standards and competencies.
• Provide two recent supervisory references with employment dates.
