Security Officer Access Control Specialist

Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas in accordance with post instructions. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Document visitor, vehicle, and/or delivery activity, maintain required logs and reports, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and other security‑related matters. Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, production‑adjacent areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 6 months of security‑related experience. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
