Dietary Aide

Cornerstone of Fresh Meadows - Cornerstone Treatment Facility Network is a respected leader and innovator in the chemical dependency treatment field for more than 25 years. We are currently seeking Full Time dietary aides to join our Dietary Department. General Responsibilities but not limited to: 1) Preparation of all food in sufficient quantities to cover all service requirements, timing preparation to meet service schedules, and food handling in accordance with sanitary standards. Uses standardized recipes and portion control to prevent food waste and to assure high quality of products served. 2) Serve patients and staff when assigned 3) Responsible for the overall sanitation requirements of equipment and complete kitchen area including, but not limited to, sweeping & mopping floors. 4) Receives deliveries and checks receipts against specifications and orders, as required. 5) Collect trash and dispose of it properly 6) Perform other assignments as delegated or required. Requirements: 1) Must be able to read and write in English 2) Must be able to lift 50 lbs. 3) Kitchen experience preferred 1199 benefits.
