Job Title

Job Description US Citizenship is required due to working in federal/government facilities. Dell certifications are required once an offer is extended and prior to candidate starting work. Location: 628 S Main St, North Syracuse, NY 13212

Weekly Mileage: 250-350 per week

Vaccination Requirement: Vaccine is NOT required

Citizenship: US due to federal and government facilities the contractor will service

Candidates are NOT paid to drive to and from work. All mileage during the day to work locations are reimbursed per the standard mileage.

• How many years of Computer Hardware Repair Field experience do you have?
• Within the last 2 years how many Motherboards have you replaced?
• Within the last 2 years how many LCD's have you replaced?
• How many years of experience do you have diagnosing Dell laptops and PC's?
• Are you A+ Certified? (A+ certification is required by the client. Selected candidates who do not already have their A+ certification will have 90 days after their start date to become certified, or be subject to termination.)

Key Responsibilities

As a Field/Computer Technician, you will be assigned service requests to repair Laptops and Desktops in the metro area. Your assignments will include repair activities such as replacing hard drives, motherboards and keyboards. You may also perform whole unit swaps, repair or replace PC peripherals. Must have reliable transportation as this role services the metro and surrounding areas. Close service tickets in real time in the Call Management system using Company provided phone.

Key Qualifications

Must have his/her OWN RELIABLE CAR and CAR INSURANCE

• 1+ Years of hands-on experience with laptop and desktop break-fix
• Computer-building background experience preferred
• General knowledge of laptop / desktop hardware and software including basic knowledge of Microsoft applications
• Ability to resolve basic / non-complex problems as directed

Screening Requirements

Must be able to complete required product training. Must be able to pass drug and background screening.
