Starting $24 per hour Mount Prospect, IL Onsite Share on Job Description Shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday Pay: $24 Position required in Person interview Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Temporary Export Associate to support our export operations team. This role is responsible for the end-to-end handling of outbound export shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, system updates, and physical shipment preparation in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Shipment Handling: Prepare, organize, and process export shipments in accordance with company procedures and applicable export regulations. System Updates: Accurately enter and maintain Air Waybill (AWB) details and shipment information within internal tracking and management systems. Documentation Management: Upload, organize, and verify all required export paperwork including commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping labels to ensure compliance and traceability. Physical Shipment Manipulation: Safely handle, move, and weigh outbound shipments as part of the export preparation process. Compliance: Adhere to all relevant export control laws, company policies, and standard operating procedures. Collaboration: Coordinate with warehouse staff, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate shipment dispatch. Requirements Physical Capability: Must be able to independently lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy in data entry and documentation handling. Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using internal systems and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, ERP/WMS platforms). Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and external partners. Organizational Skills: Capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing in a deadline-driven environment. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in export operations, logistics, or warehouse environments. Familiarity with Air Waybill (AWB) processes and export documentation. Knowledge of international shipping regulations and trade compliance requirements.
