Feed Truck Driver

Feed Truck DriverThe Feed Truck Driver transports feed and related materials between the feed mill, company locations, and customer or farm sites while following safety, DOT, and biosecurity requirements. This role also supports safe loading and unloading, completes routine equipment inspections, and maintains accurate delivery records.Key Responsibilities:Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, and delivery equipmentOperate company vehicles safely and comply with DOT regulations, company policies, and biosecurity proceduresTransport feed and related products from the feed mill to farms, customers, and other company locationsLoad, unload, and verify feed deliveries to ensure product accuracy and prevent contamination or spillsCoordinate delivery schedules and routes based on production needs, weather, and road conditionsMaintain delivery logs, inspection reports, and required shipping or regulatory documentationPerform basic maintenance checks and report equipment or vehicle issues promptlyQualifications:Valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical cardSafe driving recordKnowledge of DOT regulations and safe hauling practicesAttention to detail when handling feed loads, delivery records, and inspectionsClear communication skills and dependabilityExperience working around feed mill, agricultural, or manufacturing environments preferred
