Job Summary:

The job is to coordinate, as well as perform many of the clerical tasks related to the billing, inventory movements, support WIP management and general paperwork related to the branch. This typically does not include sales related functions, but will include ensuring the office is ready and prepared for business.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The office clerk may be responsible for many of the following job duties, or may be trained as a back-up.

• Process deductions in the system.
• Process customer invoices, adding additional costs.
• Process receiving paperwork.
• Approval of vendor invoices.
• Enter requisitions/purchase orders in the system.
• Set up truck schedules.
• Scan test reports.
• Process Work-in-Process (WIP) orders.
• Process customer credits.
• Make changes to customer orders in the system.
• Make inventory adjustments in the system.
• Process outgoing and incoming mail.
• Answer phones.
• File paperwork; set up and maintain files.

Requirements:

• A high school education is required. Some college in an accounting curriculum is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 2 years office experience is required, especially experience with data entry; background in accounting tasks is preferred.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and have good typing/keyboarding skills.
• Math skills are also required.

Working environment/physical demands:

• Office environment/no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands.
• Walking, standing, and bending on a regular basis
• Lifting up to 20lbs
