Registered Nurse - Per Diem Level I - Intermediate Care Unit - Nights

Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 – The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights Position: Registered Nurse – Intermediate Care Unit – Nights Location: Northwest Community Hospital – Arlington Heights, IL Per Diem Level I – Must be able to work at least 48 hours every 6 weeks which includes 24 hours of time on weekends. Hours: 7:00 pm – 7:30 am, Rotating holidays. Must attend nursing orientation the first week (Mon–Thu 8:00 am–4:30 pm) and second week on Tuesday 8:00 am–4:30 pm. Required Travel: No What you will do Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers. Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate. Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing. Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their specific learning needs. Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participating in quality improvement initiatives. Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations. What you will need Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing. Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois.
