About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to laboring patients, including those with high-risk conditions such as pre-eclampsia and diabetes, for gestations of 34 weeks 0 days and greater
• Support and assist with C-Sections and External Cephalic Versions
• Manage OB Triage, Postpartum, and Level 2 Special Care Nursery patient populations
• Float to like units within scope of practice as needed based on facility needs, following brief unit orientation
• Complete onsite orientation modules ( BLS, FHM, and NRP certifications required )

• Valid Kansas or Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
• BLS certification (required)
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification (required)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (required)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible - local candidates will not be considered
• RTO requests must be listed at time of submittal

• Experience in high-risk Labor and Delivery settings, including management of pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, and other obstetric complications
• Familiarity with Special Care Nursery or Level 2 NICU environments
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
