What You Will Do

• Review analyses and designs; and investigate and develop appropriate recommendations regarding assigned Engineering project.

• Serve as Project Manager or Technical Advisor on small-to-medium projects in area of expertise.

• Evaluate and administer contracts with vendors for the provision of services.

• Collaborate in site strategic planning and budgeting efforts for designated Engineering areas.

• Assist in the development and evaluation of Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) for capital funding.

• Perform other duties as required.

What You Bring To Freeport

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering discipline from an accredited curriculum and three (3) years of experience in an applicable Engineering field of expertise, OR

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering discipline from an accredited curriculum and two (2) years of experience in an applicable Engineering field of expertise

• Knowledge in the principles and practices of Civil, Geotechnical, Structural or Hydrologic Engineering or a related field of Science or Engineering

• Knowledge of appropriate software (MS Office, AutoCAD, RISA 3D)

• Certified Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or equivalent

• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing to a diversely educated audience.

• Present a positive, professional image.

• Self-motivated, energetic, able to execute, and client-service oriented.

• Be able to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.

• Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety of yourself and others.

• Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, EIT, and/or Project Management experience

What We Offer You?

The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently? $93,000-$127,500 .?This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.?
