Network & Systems AdministratorThe Network & Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting an organization's computer domain servers and networks for corporate enterprise systems along with systems in a secure environment. This role ensures stable enterprise/network performance, assists with server/network upgrades, resolves connectivity issues, and provides technical support for server/network hardware, software, and infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Domain, LAN, WAN, and wireless networksInstall, configure, and support server and network hardware (domain controllers, application servers, switches, routers, firewalls, access points)Support secure network environments, including role based access controls and RMF requirementsAssist with system/network upgrades, patching cycles, and modernization effortsDiagnose and resolve connectivity, performance, and hardware issuesPerform routine administration/network maintenance, backups, and documentationSupport VoIP systems, network cabling, and infrastructure componentsCollaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to support mission critical operationsMaintain network asset documentation and change logsEnsure compliance with DoD security standards and cybersecurity best practicesRequirements:CompTIA Security+ certification (required)2–5 years of hands-on IT system administration and/or network support experienceStrong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, routing, and switchingExperience with networking hardware from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Ubiquiti, MerakiFamiliarity with firewalls, ACLs, and secure network configurationAbility to interpret and maintain network diagrams and documentationStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesAdditional certifications such as Network+ or CCNA are preferredBasic understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud systems
