We get to know our kids on an individual level and work with them and their families toward a brighter next chapter. Job Summary The Team Supervisor supervises and maintains the residential milieu. This is a responsible supervisory position focused on safety and quality. Responsibilities Assists in the implementation and follow through of the treatment plans. Assures that treatment plan protocol is adhered to, especially as it relates to special treatment procedures. Attends and oversees shift processing meetings. Oversees the day‑to‑day operation of the unit as it relates to staff. Reports unusual situations that may occur on the unit to the Residential Manager, Program Directors, and/or Executive Director. Assures that the unit is clean and orderly and that all waste is disposed of properly. Supervises staff and resident activities on and off the unit. Supervises accurate documentation of incident reports. Essential Management Functions Monitors performance of staff supervised and is responsible for the administration of their duties; provides prompt and objective coaching and counseling and ensures timely performance appraisals. Oversees the duties and essential functions of the Team Leaders. Additional Responsibilities Performs other related tasks as may be assigned. Participates in staff development and in‑service training activities to increase job knowledge. Essential Characteristics Demonstrates the ability to establish credibility and be decisive. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with co‑workers, management, referral sources, and the general public. Displays satisfactory written and verbal communication skills. Shows an understanding of children and adolescent developmental issues. Demonstrates knowledge of and insists upon the rights of children and adolescents as residents in this facility. Has proven ability to relate to and work with children and/or adolescents. Organizational Relationships This position is accountable to the Residential Director. It supervises and trains the Team Leaders and Residential Counselors. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma with at least 1 year of experience in behavioral healthcare.
