Responsibilities Help establish roadmap and architecture based on technology and understanding of customer needs Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge Share knowledge by giving brown bags, tech talks, and promoting appropriate tech and engineering best practices Help lead large projects from idea to positive execution Unblock, support and communicate with internal partners to achieve results Experience / Qualifications 5+ years of software engineering experience with high-level programming languages; experience with Python and Go is a plus BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience Strong background in distributed systems, and proficient in relational or NoSQL databases Proven experience in designing, debugging, and managing fault-tolerant, highly available, large-scale distributed systems Experience working with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, etc.) Benefits Great medical, dental, and vision insurance options with additional programs available when enrolled Mental health benefits Family building benefits Child care and pet benefits 401(k) plan with company match Discretionary paid time off for salaried staff; 15 days paid time off for hourly staff 18 weeks of paid parental leave.
