CVOR RN Shift: 2x8 shifts and 2x12 shifts: 6:30 to 23:00 with call. Hours will be filled in wherever the need is for the schedule. Must be flexible.

Must-Haves:

• 2+ years in cardiac, vascular, and transplant experience
• 1 year CVOR experience
• 1 year in a Level I Trauma facility

Certifications: BLS NIH

Required Skills: General OR Cardiovascular Thoracic Vascular Transplant

Charting System: EPIC is required

Call hours are required and distributed equitably among staff members on a 4-week basis. Call hours begin at 7pm each weekday night. Weekend call is required and divided into 12-hour blocks. The amount of call is based on the number of staff members and can change each month.

Flu Vaccine: Required - Medical Exemptions Only

Travelers who are unresponsive or uncooperative with credentialing are at risk of push/cancel. All candidates must be made aware of the urgency of the Ohio fingerprinting process. Candidate must complete fingerprints as soon as they sign contract. Locals are accepted at the same rate. Reference requirements: 2 professional references are required. At least 1 reference must be from a manager/director or someone in a formal leadership capacity (e.g., a supervisor). Charge RN acceptable for 2nd reference. No coworker references accepted. Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more. Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location. RNs- must have valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission. MRI techs - submittals without OH license are acceptable. Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
