Senior Technical Project ManagerLocation: Berkeley Heights, NJ Industry: Financial IT / Payments TechnologyJob OverviewWe are seeking experienced Senior Technical Project Managers to support a large-scale payment processing platform used by mid-sized businesses. This is a high-impact, delivery-focused role where you will serve as the central leader responsible for driving multiple concurrent initiatives from planning through execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing complex technical projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery in a fast-paced environment. This role requires close collaboration with engineering teams, business stakeholders, clients, and external partners to support platform implementations, client onboarding, and ongoing product enhancements.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage 5–8 concurrent projects, including new client implementations and ongoing platform enhancement initiativesServe as the primary point of contact for project communications, status reporting, and stakeholder engagementCoordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, business stakeholders, clients, and third-party vendorsSupport onboarding and implementation of new clients onto the payment processing platformDrive delivery of new features, enhancements, and use cases for existing clientsDevelop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverablesIdentify, track, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and issuesTranslate business requirements into actionable project plans and technical deliverablesFacilitate communication between technical and business teams to ensure alignment and successful executionEnsure project objectives, timelines, and deliverables align with overall business goalsManage competing priorities and drive projects through completion in a fast-paced environmentRequirements• Proven experience as a Senior Technical Project Manager leading complex technical initiatives• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment• Strong project planning, execution, risk management, and delivery management skills• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate diverse stakeholder groups• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities• Experience translating business requirements into technical project plans and deliverables• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate competing priorities and changing requirementsPreferred• Experience within payments, financial technology (FinTech), banking, or credit card processing environments• Familiarity with.NET and/or Azure-based technology platforms• Previous software development, technical leadership, or engineering experience• Ability to interpret Statements of Work (SOWs), technical specifications, and architectural documentation• Experience supporting client-facing implementations and onboarding initiatives• Background working with highly collaborative teams involving internal and external stakeholdersAbout TheorisOur goal is to Fuel Your Career!
