Operations Clerk
Location: Chicago IL 60654 Duration: 4 Months Payrate: $28-$30 Per hour Part Time Job Functions & Responsibilities: Hiring & Onboarding
- Source, interview, and hire Onsite Support Specialists (OSS)
- Ensure candidates meet quality, reliability, and professionalism standards
- Own onboarding process and set new hires up for success
Training & Enablement
- Conduct initial and ongoing training for OSS
- Reinforce standards for setup, labeling, and participant experience
- Ensure OSS understand operational playbooks and expectations
Field Quality & Performance Management
- Coordinate coverage and onsite experience for customer launches
- Conduct live evaluations of OSS during shifts
- Provide direct feedback and coaching to improve performance
- Identify high vs. low performers and take appropriate action
Market Development & Ad Hoc Operations
- Support local growth efforts (treat drop-offs, restaurant visits, test orders)
- Act as the on-the-ground representative of operations in the region
Ownership of Hub Performance
- Maintain a strong, reliable OSS bench for the hub
- Ensure coverage, quality, and readiness for all shifts
- Partner with Shift Leads and central ops to flag gaps or risks
Qualifications
- 25 years in operations, field management, recruiting, or training
- Strong people judgment and ability to coach in the field
- Highly organized, self-directed, and willing to be in the field regularly
- Experience in marketplace ops, gig workforce management, or hospitality
