RN - ER Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI Must-Have: Experience with critical care gtts, sedation, ESI, and codes.Experience with STEMI, Stroke, Sepsis, preferred experience with Trauma. Description:The Emergency Department has a total of 39 beds.The patient ratio is 4:1, with surge beds assigned to each section.The unit is staffed with a lead nurse, unit clerk, sitters for behavioral health, paramedics, EMTs, and LPNs.Equipment used in the unit includes Rapid Infuser and Glidescope.The documentation system used is Meditech EDM.Staff are required to work every other weekend.There is no floating policy.Focus on team collaboration in patient care and demonstrating care for each individual patient.Advanced skills required include intubation, chest tube insertion, and splinting.Charcoal grey scrubs are the required uniform.Unit-specific policies and guidelines are available for review.Awards and recognition programs are in place, including employee of the month and patient experience recommendations.New equipment and technology may be available to support workflow.The tenure and experience of staff is significant, providing a rich environment for learning and collaboration.Various schedule options may be considered to support work-life balance.Prospective candidates are encouraged to explore the opportunities within this dynamic unit. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
