Details Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting 13-week contract assignment Night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week) No on-call requirements Uses Meditech charting system Required to float to other departments and facilities, including Perry Hospital, based on departmental rotation needs Requirements Active GA or compact RN license required 1.5 years of overall RN experience with 18 months specifically in Labor & Delivery BLS (AHA) and NRP certification required to start Fetal Monitoring certification required to start ACLS certification preferred IV insertion skills required Full SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information Provide nursing care within the Labor & Delivery unit including fetal monitoring and IV insertion Interview process includes an interview with the Nurse Manager Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility RTO requests not falling near a holiday are limited to a maximum of 5 days RTO requests falling on or near a holiday are limited to a maximum of 3 days, with only one holiday request allowed Candidates may only be submitted to one open position at a time American Traveler Job ID P-750273.
