Job Description

Job Summary:

Perform computerized axial tomography (CT) scans on adult patients, adhering to established clinical standards under the supervision of a radiologist. Ensure accurate imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct CT imaging procedures utilizing advanced equipment following departmental protocols.
• Administer contrast agents and perform venipuncture with expertise in contrast validation within the first month of employment.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, certifications, and any clinical notes as required.
• Adhere to safety guidelines, including proper patient identification and radiation safety measures.
• Assist in maintaining equipment and ensuring a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of CT imaging experience, specifically with Philips systems.
• Current ARRT (CT) certification.
• Proven proficiency in venipuncture and contrast administration.
• Experience with 3D imaging techniques is highly preferred.
• Valid Michigan license for nurses and relevant professional licenses as applicable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with excellent communication skills.
