Facilities Specialist

We are looking for a Facilities Specialist to work onsite at our Winston Salem, NC facility. You will work independently, implementing requisite changes and new or modified plans. You will inspect projects, participate in cross functional teams, perform prebuilding assessments, and plan maintenance activities. You will be responsible for Facilities processes improvements to enhance the Facilities team performance.

Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 7am – 4pm

What You Will Do:

1. Implement requisite changes related to facility or equipment specifications and organization or government restrictions to ensure compliance with the norms.
2. Inspect or review projects to evaluate compliance with building and safety codes or other regulations to ensure a safe workplace.
3. Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure security and safety at multiple sites.
4. Plan, organize, and schedule activities, which may include maintenance, construction, renovation, and repair of organization facilities, to ensure proper functioning of facilities.
5. Manage a wide variety of projects using standard project management tools and knowledge.
6. Participate in root cause evaluations to determine cause and corrective actions of equipment failures.
7. Follow all OSHA, EHS and Corporate safety standards and regulations.
8. Maintain records and logs of daily activities.
9. Perform Contractor Coordinator duties such as ensuring contractors get onboarded, scheduled, work assignments issued, etc.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
• CAD experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience programming and troubleshooting DCS/PLC's
• Experience with Microsoft project
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial machinery maintenance
• Experience working on or repairing industrial machinery
• Experience in Aerospace or Aviation is preferred but not required

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
