Banking Solutions Specialist

If you're an experienced banker, known internally as a Banking Solutions Specialist who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and making banking easy for clients, Core Bank offers an opportunity to do more than process transactions. You'll build meaningful relationships, provide tailored solutions, and gain exposure to multiple areas of banking while growing your career.

This role is ideal for someone ready to move beyond traditional teller and platform responsibilities. You'll gain exposure to business banking, lending, treasury management, and relationship management while building the skills needed for future growth within Core Bank.

What you'll do

No two days look the same. You will move fluidly between client engagement, operational execution, and business development, always with the customer at the center.

Build and deepen client relationships

• Deliver a consistent, high-touch experience across all transaction types — from routine servicing to relationship-deepening conversations.
• Open, close, and maintain personal and business accounts and products accurately and efficiently.
• Be a reliable point of contact for timely follow-up, issue resolution, and continuity of service, advancing next steps and confirming outcomes on your own.

Grow relationships through needs-based selling

• Use structured discovery to uncover stated and unstated needs, then align the right deposit, lending, digital, and service solutions.
• Present options tied to what matters to the client, explain the pros and considerations, and close straightforward opportunities.
• Recognize referral opportunities and coordinate warm handoffs to our mortgage, treasury, commercial banking, and wealth partners when a need exceeds retail scope.
• Support deposit and loan growth through proactive outreach, relationship expansion, and consistent follow-up that leads to repeat visits and referrals.

Own service recovery and problem resolution

• Independently resolve most service failures end to end. Find the root cause and offer solutions based on the customer's needs.
• Follow up to confirm resolution and restore trust; escalate high-risk or high-value concerns appropriately, with complete documentation.

Keep operations sound and compliant

• Support client transaction needs accurately and efficiently, including teller transactions when needed.
• Support daily banking center operations, including new accounts, account servicing, teller activity, and lending support.
• Apply regulatory and compliance requirements across varied scenarios; identify and stop potential compliance risks and document decisions accurately, without prompting.

Lift up the team

• Provide as-needed guidance, knowledge-sharing, and coverage to colleagues.
• Model Core Bank's service non-negotiables and reinforce best practices through consistent execution and follow-through.

Qualifications

Who you are

You are self-motivated, relationship-focused, and comfortable making sound decisions while delivering an exceptional client experience. You are curious about people, calm under pressure, and driven to get to "yes" the right way.

Required:

• 2+ years of retail banking, financial services, or customer relationship experience
• Proven ability to build client relationships and identify financial needs
• Experience handling transactions accurately and maintaining confidentiality

Preferred:

• Consumer lending experience
• Business banking exposure
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree
