Emergency Department Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Evening shift: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department (ED) registered nurse to join our team. The ED comprises 48 treatment spaces with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5. The successful candidate will play a critical role in patient care and management, ensuring that patients receive high-quality medical attention in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessments, interventions, and evaluations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols and physician orders.
• Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Experience in Emergency Medicine preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
