Concrete Mixer Driver - Columbia, SC

Sparta Networking is supporting a leading construction materials company in hiring an experienced Concrete Mixer Driver . This role is ideal for a dependable professional focused on safely transporting and delivering ready-mix concrete while maintaining quality, timing, and strong communication on job sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to job sites
• Monitor and maintain proper mixing, slump, and consistency during transport and delivery
• Safely maneuver and position the truck in tight or uneven jobsite conditions
• Communicate with dispatch, batch plant, and jobsite personnel to coordinate deliveries
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
• Clean and maintain the mixer truck to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations

Qualifications

• Valid CDL (Class A or B) required
• Experience operating a concrete mixer truck or similar heavy vehicle preferred
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety and driving regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
• Flexibility to work early mornings, overtime, and weekends as needed

Work Environment

• Physically demanding role, including climbing, lifting up to 60 lbs, and extended driving periods
• Exposure to outdoor conditions, dust, noise, and construction environments
• Use of PPE required at all times
