Telemetry Technician

Your Role on the Team The Telemetry Monitor Technician monitors and accurately interprets cardiac rhythms of patients on telemetric equipment. Provides continuous observation and identifies basic arrhythmias. Notifies the RN or Physician promptly of changes or dysrhythmias as they occur. Troubleshoots false alarms and system or equipment issues. Documents values and mounts rhythm strips according to unit standards. Also provides continuous observation of patients being monitored during special procedures.
