RN - Clinic Profession: RN Specialty: Clinic Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: ND license or Compact License Certifications: BLS needed Must-Have: No hits allowed on background check Description:Provide direct nursing care to patients, including assessments, treatment support, and care coordination.Assist with clinic procedures, patient education, and follow-up care related to surgical and therapeutic treatment plans.Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition to providers and the interdisciplinary care team.Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record and support coding and clinic workflows as assigned.Perform point-of-care testing, specimen collection, and lab packaging in accordance with clinic requirements.Collaborate with providers, therapists, and clinic staff to support efficient patient flow and high-quality care delivery.Ensure that prior authorizations are submitted for procedures and medications. Volume:Ortho: 40+ patients per dayHand: 20 patients per dayFamily Practice: 15-25 patients per day Support Structure:Nurse Managers and Nurse Educators available.Depending on the clinic, there may be another nurse present.Hand and Family Practice operate as one nurse offices.
