Cardiac Diagnostic Center Nuclear Department Manager

Responsible and accountable for creating, implementing, and supporting the daily operations of Cardiac Diagnostic Center Nuclear Department and working independently to adhere to Baxter Healths mission, vision and values.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Board Certification in Nuclear medicine
• Licensed with the state
• BLS certification

Safety Sensitive Designation: This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, to solve problems and make decisions.
• Spend eight (8) hours or more in front of computer, monitor or similar screen utilizing keyboard and/or mouse, daily.
• Ability to regularly stand and walk, occasionally bend, squat and twist, and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds using proper body mechanics.
• Keen sense of hearing and visual acuity with or without correction.
• Ability to handle critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure.

Work Environment:

• Cardiac Diagnostic Testing Center, patient areas.
• Possible exposure to body fluids including respiratory droplets, sputum, blood, etc.
• May be exposed to infectious airborne particulates before a patient is placed in isolation.
• Clinic setting, within a hospital environment.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a position in a hospital setting which is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Cardiac Diagnostic Staff, 4 days a week, Monday through Thursday, 9-hour shifts.
