• Advanced skills in ERCP, EUS, robotic bronchoscopy, and EBUS

Description: The position involves working in endoscopy procedures. The unit features 2 endoscopy suites. Patient ratios are 1:1 for circulating nurses and up to 2 patients in PACU. Preop has a 1:1 ratio during questioning but may go up to 1:3 if waiting. Staffing includes 1 circulator and 1 tech in the room. There is a designated scope washer for the shift. Equipment used includes Olympus scopes, OER elite washer, and ION robot. Documentation systems utilized are Meditech Expanse and Provation. Scheduling requirements vary from 6 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday, based on assignments. Floating to other facilities may be required as needed. Required procedures performed include colonoscopy, EGD, Pill Cam, Bravos, ERCP, EUS, EBUS, ION, bronchoscopy, and more. Dress code consists of hospital-issued scrubs. Huddles are done prior to the start of each day. Candidates are encouraged to consider the opportunity for new equipment or technology and the tenure of the experienced staff.
