Head of Marketing, Retina Eye Care

Lead the U.S. Retina Marketing team at this pharmaceutical company, overseeing strategy, execution, and financial performance for both established and pipeline products. Direct cross-functional teams, manage P&L accountability, and drive commercial readiness for product launches in ophthalmology.
Responsibilities
- Develop overarching Retina Marketing strategy aligned with enterprise priorities and asset life-cycle needs
- Own marketing inputs to business plan including budgets, forecasts, and performance objectives
- Direct integrated marketing plan development, execution, and optimization with clear performance metrics
- Lead, coach, and develop direct and indirect team members to foster high-performing culture
- Serve as senior Marketing representative for Retina, aligning Sales, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and other functions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 10 years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology marketing experience
- Demonstrated success leading a franchise or major brand across multiple product life-cycle stages
- Strong people-leadership experience building and developing high-performing teams
- Expertise in marketing capabilities including insights, positioning, segmentation, and omnichannel execution
- Strong financial acumen with P&L management, forecasting, and resource allocation skills
- Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional senior stakeholders
